This spring, on May 8th, Canada's Wonderland's newest and most epic rollercoaster will be opening to the public. After Canada's Wonderland's acquisition by Six Flags on July 1, 2024, AlpenFury was announced to announce the following spring. This acquisition took place after Cedar Park merged with Six Flags. This record-breaking coaster is surely impressive. Below are the statistics for the coaster:

Designed by: Premier Rides
Coaster type: Launch
Height of launch: 50 metres (164 feet), drop is 47 metres (154 feet)
Max speed: 115 km/h (≈ 71 mph)
Length: 1,000 metres (3,281 feet)
Inversions: 9 (the most in the world for a launch coaster)
Trains: 2
Riders per train: 18
Duration: 1 minute, 20 seconds

This launch coaster is the first of its kind in Canada, and is adding to Canada's Wonderland's incredible coaster lineup, which is already second in North America behind Six Flags Magic Mountain in Santa Clarita, California.

The location of this coaster will be right beside Wonder Mountain, close to Guardian and Thunder Run.

Access to this ride will be included with a pass to the park. An any-day pass will cost $45 (including taxes and a processing fee up to $9.99). As well, AlpenFury will be able to be ridden with the Fast Pass ($69-79 depending if you choose Fast Lane or Fast Line Plus).

This exciting coaster will surely knock your socks off, and give you bragging rights to all of your friends and family! The launch of the coaster will also certainly put butterflies in your stomach.

  1. I'm really excited about the AlpenFury coaster opening at Canada's Wonderland. With nine loops and a top speed of 115 km/h, it sounds like it will be an amazing ride. I love that the park is adding new attractions after joining Six Flags. It’s cool to see a unique coaster like this one being built and I can’t wait to try it out. Being next to Wonder Mountain it should provide great views too. Overall, it sounds like a fun addition to the park. I'll be counting down the days until May 8th to experience it for myself.
